Sept 12, 2014

Lynne and I took a very nice afternoon sail in the South Bay. Good winds and warm weather. What's not to like.

The end of our 4 day Labor Day sailing trip, the return from China
Camp State Park to home. Pulled up anchor at around noon and power sailed the first part of the trip because the winds were quite light. Winds were light till we go to the slot and then we were blasted with 20+ knot winds. Wildcat handled it fine. We actually got in at 5pm, just forgot to turn off the app until we got back from dinner.

Lynne and I sailed up to clipper cove Friday night an rafted up with Sandra and Doron on Messing About. Winds were good going up and quoted down for a peaceful night on the hook.

Next day, not shown on stats below we sailed the 13 nm to China camp state park for two days on the hook. Winds we blustery in the slot 18-20, but fair the rest of the way. Took about 3 hours. Got a good spot near the park. Went over to Peter and Bethany's boat Nanaimo for cocktails and then Brian and Lilian's boat for dinner.

Next day we took a swim, went to the park for a tour, took a sail on Peter's dingy and generally hung out and relaxed.
